Will you marry me & I love you

To say he’s my Romeo would fall short of everything,

He was the calling for her love,

The connection of their eyes meeting in pools of thought

For his best moves were stitched to one knee seeking the floor for balance,

One hand interlocked like cuffs to mine,

But I was unsure of this love,

Something I did not seem to recognise,

Nothing had appeared so quickly for me to measure his words to,

These words were soft, pure as the hands that once took from me my fruits of hard labour,

They were strong, like the strength of God wiping out mere humans with water,

His words were beautiful; they called upon me as though he sang praise songs

So I guess it is only right to retain this position labelled with my name,
